The Energia All-Ireland League

The Ireland Club International team was introduced in 2006 and their first game was against Scotland Clubs in. The team brings together the very best All-Ireland League players and matches them with their international counterparts.

The Ireland Club team have played 25 games to date winning 13, losing 10 and drawing 2. They have played tests against England Counties in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017.

There were also games played against France Fédérale in 2015 and 2016 including a game at Aviva Stadium as part of a double header with the Ireland Men’s team in the Six Nations Championship.

Games against Scotland Club XV are played for the Dalriada Cup. The sides have met on 13 occasions.

In the present format, games are played on a home and away basis with the winner decided on an aggregate score.
