David Mongan touched down twice, bringing his impressive league tally to ten tries, with bruising number 8 Leo Auva’a also breaching the ‘Hinch whitewash.

Full-back Conal Keane did the rest of the damage, landing four penalties and two conversions for a 14-point kicking haul.

A solitary penalty from New Zealander Ryan Bambry was all Ballynahinch had to show for their first half efforts, trailing 16-3 at the break.

Lock Robert Greer did provide some pre-Christmas cheer for the hosts with a converted try, but with ‘Belvo captain Andy Dunne and Leinster’s Chris Keane and Eoin O’Malley impressing behind an industrious pack, the visitors had no problems seeing out their third win in four league outings.
