Eric Miller has withdrawn from the Leinster Lions side for their clash with Neath-Swansea Ospreys on Saturday in Wales while David Humphreys has cried off the Ulster side for the clash this evening with The Borders at Ravenhill (7.30).The international out-half picked up a calf injury in training on Monday and it hasn’t responded to treatment which means that Adam Larkin will wear the number 10 jersey and Paddy Wallace comes onto the bench.

Miller picked up a slight shoulder injury in training on Wednesday and with the Heineken Cup just over a week away coach Gary Ella has decided not to take any unnecessary chances. Des Dillon takes over at wing-forward and Niall Breslin comes onto the bench.

Down south the injury plague to international players continues with John Kelly and Anthony Horgan both ruled out of this evening’s Musgrave Park clash between Munster and Cardiff Blues. Both were named in Alan Gaffney’s side but Kelly picked up an achilles injury and Horgan damaged a hamstring which leaves them sidelined for a game Munster must win to keep alive their hopes of Celtic League glory.

Mossie Lawler and Shaun Payne are called into the starting XV with Martin McPhail and Dominic Crotty promoted to the bench.
