IQ Rugby Registration
Building on the foundation of work provided by the IRFU Irish Exiles across the last 30 years, IQ Rugby was established by the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) in 2017.
What is IQ Rugby?
IQ Rugby operates as an integral link of the IRFU High Performance Pathway, offering Irish Qualified (IQ) players from outside of Ireland an opportunity to progress towards playing in and/or for Ireland.
The IQ Rugby Programme is a player centered programme, responsible for the identification and registration of IQ male and female players. The programme provides an important pathway to Connacht, Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Ireland teams (U18, U20, Women’s Men’s).
