A new online platform for referee education and performance reviewing was introduced to the IRFU National Panel Referees, with the aim to provide a better structure for Referees and Referee Coaches to review performances and aid referee development. David Wilkinson, IRFU National Referee Manager said:
“The future of Domestic Rugby in Ireland, its quality and progress are not only determined by the development of the players’, but it is also determined by well-educated and competent officiators.
“Strives are being made to modernise the manner through which we review and educate referees. I hope our midseason seminar has set the referees up for the remaining rounds and I look forward to some exciting rugby as the Energia AIL reaches its climax.”
