Women’s Cup Finals Set For Clanwilliam

The Women’s All-Ireland Cup and Plate Finals take place in Clanwilliam RFC this Saturday and some of the stars of Ireland’s Grand Slam team will be involved on the day. The RBS 6 Nations Trophy will also be on display in the clubhouse.

The cup final features perennial rivals UL Bohemians and Highfield. The Limerick side supplied many of the players who backboned the recent Grand Slam and Sevens success including Ireland team captain Fiona Coghlan and Jeannette Feighery who lead Ireland at the Hong Kong Sevens.

Highfield were beaten finalists last season and will be aiming to overcome the favourites and deny their rivals another league and cup double.
