The Beach Tag season commenced last weekend as Ulster’s Causeway Coast was alive with the buzz of IRFU Tag teams out for the weekend at Portstewart.

With warm weather, top tunes and a great atmosphere, all the games contested were played in superb spirit, causing many onlookers on this famous blue-flag beach to set up and stay for the duration of the games, just like the previous year.

With 15 teams playing four league games during the day, there were trophies for everyone taking part to subsequently compete for.

A special ‘Spirit of the Game’ trophy was also awarded to the ‘Arthur Cox’ team.
