Ticket Sale Frequently Asked Questions

The first part of the ticket sale for the GUINNESS Series 2009 starts at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20th. Please read the frequently asked questions below.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I buy tickets?
Login to your supporters club account and follow the BUY TICKETS link. If you do not see the link then refresh your page.

2. I am not a member, how do I join?
You can join online right now on www.irishrugby.ie just click on the Supporters Club link on the homepage.

3. What is my user name/password
Call our helpdesk on 0818 717 117 or +353 1 409 8319. Please be aware that the helpdesk will be busier than usual during the ticket sale.

4. What tickets are on sale?
The only tickets going on sale at this stage are stand tickets for Ireland V Australia and Ireland V South Africa.
These tickets are sold as a package for 140 Euro.

5. What is a Package?
One package contains one ticket for Irl V Aus and one ticket for Irl V S. Africa.
The IRFU reserves the right to adjust the limit .Any changes will be posted online and via email to all members to alert them. Members were limited to two packages on the first day of the sale. Members may now purchase more packages from the remaining available tickets available.

6. How do I pay?
You can pay online by credit card (VISA & MASTERCARD) or by Laser. Please note that most Laser cards now have a 3 digit security code.

7. Why are there no Premium tickets on sale?
Premium tickets will go on sale at a later date. Watch the website and the e-zines for an update.

8. Why are there no Fiji tickets?
Fiji tickets will go on sale at a later date. Watch the website and the e-zines for an update.

9. Can I buy family/schoolboy tickets?
There are no family tickets. Schoolboy/girl tickets are only ever distributed through the four branches to schools and clubs.

10. When will the tickets be posted?
Tickets will be posted out appximately 3 weeks before the first game. As per the terms and conditions we do NOT post to addresses outside Europe. Please contact our Ticketing Department – ticketqueries@irishrugby.ie to make alternative arrangements.

In particular your attention is drawn to the fact that it is a breach of the tems & conditions to resell tickets above face value or on an auction site. Members may have their tickets revoked and their membership cancelled if they are found to be in breach of the terms & conditions.

12. Can I sell my ticket to another member?
Yes. You can sell your ticket to another member at face value. We encourage all members with spare tickets to help out other members at all times.
