European And B&I Cup Appointments For IRFU Referees

This weekend will see IRFU referees in action in the European Champions Cup, European Challenge Cup and the British & Irish Cup.
 

This evening, David Wilkinson will referee the European Challenge Cup game between the Ospreys and the Newcastle Falcons at Liberty Stadium in Swansea. Assisting Wilkinson will be Kieran Barry and Shane Kierans.
 
At Stade des Alpes, Dudley Phillips will be the man in the middle as Grenoble host Lyon. Nigel Correll and Stuart Douglas will be the assistant referees.
 
In the British & Irish Cup’s opening round, Jonny Erskine and Rob Watson will be assistant referees for the Ulster ‘A’ team’s game against Jersey Reds In Belfast.
 
Tomorrow in the European Champions Cup, Andrew Brace will be in charge at the Ricoh Arena for the meeting of Wasps and Zebre. Eddie Hogan O’Connell and Jonathan Peak will be the assistant referees and Peter Fitzgibbon the TMO.
 
John Lacey will referee Toulon’s heavyweight clash with Saracens at the Stade Mayol. He will have Mark Patton and Paul Haycock as assistant referees. Simon McDowell will be the TMO.
 
In the European Challenge Cup, Gary Conway will referee Bayonne v Gloucester. Stuart Gaffikin and Richard Kerr will be assistant referees.
 
In the British & Irish Cup, Women’s Sevens World Series referee Joy Neville will be in action as she takes charge of Bedford Blues against the Newport Gwent Dragons Premiership Select. Frank Murphy is also on B&I Cup duty in Wales as he referees Cardiff Blues Premiership Select against London Scottish.
 
At Midleton RFC in Cork, Munster ‘A’ host London Welsh and Robert O’Sullivan and Richard Horgan will be the assistant referees.
 
On Sunday, George Clancy will officiate the European Champions Cup encounter between Exeter Chiefs and Clermont Auvergne at Sandy Park. He will be assisted by Leo Colgan and John Carvill, with Brian MacNeice on TMO duty.
 
In the B&I Cup, Sean Gallagher takes charge of Nottingham versus the Scarlets Premiership Select side. At the Sportsground, Jason Cairns and Daithi Flood will be assistant referees for Connacht Eagles’ round 1 showdown with Cornish Pirates.
