‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw Winners Announced

The IRFU/Ulster Bank ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw winners were announced today following the official draw at Irish Rugby headquarters.

The top prize of a trip to South Africa for Ireland’s 2016 summer tour was won by Daniel Casey and the winning ticket was sold by Castleisland RFC.

This year the fundraising initiative raised over 580,000 euro for the 137 participating clubs. To date, the scheme has raised over 3 million euro for clubs around the country. 
 
The Ulster Bank-backed initiative allows clubs to sell up to 1,000 tickets at €;10 per ticket and retain 100% of the ticket sale revenue.

The IRFU and its partners supply the prizes for the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw, ensuring clubs reap the maximum benefit from the fundraising scheme.

Martin O’Sullivan, President of the IRFU, commented: “Once again a large number of clubs have reaped the benefit of this unique fundraising initiative. Clubs around the country are constantly looking for ways in which to improve their facilities and the services they offer to their communities. 

“This requires fundraising and the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ initiative can make a significant contribution to a club’s annual fundraising goals. The continuing support of Ulster Bank of the Grand Draw is greatly appreciated.”
