Ireland Wolfhounds Sevens Squad Named For GB7s

The Ireland Wolfhounds are in Pool B with reigning champions Samurai, Forces Exiles and the Welsh Charitables in the one-day event.
 
Speaking ahead of their departure, Anthony Eddy, IRFU Director of Rugby Sevens, said: “The squad are looking forward to playing in their first tournament. As a group they have prepared and gelled well, individually they have all put in a huge amount of work.

“The skill level, attitude and performances of the players and of the team as a whole have been very impressive. We are looking forward to getting on the pitch on Saturday and we hope to reproduce this for the tournament.”
