O2 Ireland Open Training Session

The IRFU and O2 today announced that they will host a free ticketed open training session at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, October 29 (at 11am – gates open at 10am).

Up to 5,000 rugby fans will have the opportunity to see the Irish squad training as they prepare for their GUINNESS Series opener against Samoa.

Tickets for the event are free and will be available on www.ticketmaster.ie from 10am on Friday, October 18.

Please note you must have a ticket to gain entry. There is a limit of five tickets per person and childen must be accompanied by an adult.

IRFU Partrons Club and Supporters Club members will have a priority window to access tickets from 9am tomorrow (Thursday, October 17).

The IRFU’s director of communications Stephen McNamara said: “The IRFU are pleased to invite fans to welcome Joe Schmidt and his Ireland squad to the home of Irish rugby, the Aviva Stadium.

“We have timed this event to coincide with the mid-term school holidays as we hope to see many young, and not so young fans, gather for this exciting day, to fire up their Irish rugby heroes ahead of the opening match of the GUINNESS Series against Samoa, who are currently ranked seventh in the world.”

General release tickets will be available from www.ticketmaster.ie  on Friday, October 18.
