Campbell Brings Eden Park To Athlone
Rugby legend Ollie Campbell will make an exclusive appearance in Burgess Department Store on Tuesday, November 20 between 5pm and 6.30pm. Ollie will be in the store to celebrate the arrival of Eden Park menswear to Burgess.
Official formal wear brand for the IRFU, Eden Park is wardrobe staple for rugby fans and customers at the event can enjoy 20% off the label throughout the event.
Ollie Campbell’s exploits for the Ireland team in the late 1970s and 1980s are legendary.
From the massive 60 points he scored during the 1979 Lions tour to scoring all 21 points against Scotland in 1982 to win the Triple Crown for Ireland for the first time since 1949, he was a force to be reckoned with.
For rugby fans it is an evening not to be missed. Fans can enjoy listening to Ollie wax lyrical about his days on the pitch, the upcoming final game of the GUINNESS Series against Argentina, the Six Nations Championship next spring as well as the provinces’ prospects in the Heineken Cup and RaboDirect PRO12.
