It was a stellar night at the IRUPA Awards dinner in the Burlington Hotel and Irish Rugby TV was there to speak to some of the winners.
It has been a whirlwind of a year for full-back Rob Kearney as he came back from a bad knee injury to reclaim his place with Leinster and Ireland.
His performances in the Rugby World Cup and RBS 6 Nations and his Heineken Cup heroics for Leinster have demonstrated that he is back at the top of his game.
The Louth man’s efforts have been rewarded by his peers with the IRUPA Players’ Player of the Year honour.
