Additional Players For Provinces’ European Bids
ERC (European Rugby Cup Ltd.) has confirmed that the following players have been nominated by their clubs/provinces as their additional players for the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup tournaments.
Defending Heineken Cup champions Leinster have added back rower and former Ireland Under-20 captain Paul Ryan, South African hooker Richardt Strauss and current Irish Under-20 starlet Andrew Conway to their squad ahead of the quarter-final encounter with Clermont Auvergne on Friday, April 9.
Full-back Scott Deasy and front row duo Dave Ryan and Mike Sherry have all been added to Munster’s European panel, as the countdown continues to their quarter-final showdown with Northampton Saints on Saturday, April 10.
Meanwhile, Connacht have called young lock Dave Nolan into their Amlin Challenge Cup squad. The westerners will entertain French side Bourgoin in a much-anticipated quarter-final tie at the Sportsground on Saturday, April 10.
