St. Mary’s In The Pink For Ladies Day

St. Mary’s In The Pink For Ladies Day

The two top sides in AIB League Division 1A will go head-to-head at Templeville Road on Saturday, and hosts St. Mary’s College have an extra special reason to mark the occasion with a win.

The St. Mary’s College RFC side, captained by AIB Club International player Hugh Hogan, will wear pink jerseys when they take on Division 1A leaders Cork Constitution, in a show of support for Action Breast Cancer.

The specially-commissioned jerseys could add a touch of flamboyance to the Dubliners’ already attractive play!

The day promises to be a very special one not just because of the high stakes involved in the game – a win for St. Mary’s would put them in good shape to make next month’s semi-finals.

In addition, as in previous years, St. Mary’s are holding their very popular ‘Ladies Day’ where, for a modest ticket price, the ladies can join in the fun in the main bar.

There will be a champagne reception, finger food, raffles, and of course each ticket holder will receive a fabulous ‘goody bag’, while there will also be live music lined up all day.

This year. St. Mary’s have also linked up with ABC – Action Breast Cancer – to help raise the profile of this worthy cause and raise some much-needed revenue.

So why not get down to Templeville Road if you are in the area on Saturday, soak up the atmosphere and help St. Mary’s with their fundraising drive on what is sure to be a memorable occasion for all involved!

Tickets for St. Mary’s Ladies Day are priced €;20. Doors open at 2pm.
