This week featuers the Nelson Mandela birthday celebration match between South Africa and Argentina as well as a look at the Tri Nations.
Five matches in and no team has a clear advantage in the Tri Nations so Total Rugby asked Eddie Jones, South Africa’s attack coach at the last World Cup and the man who took Australia to the 2003 Final, to give a coaching master class on how to beat each team.
RUGBY AND THE OLYMPICS
Eighty four years have passed since the USA won rugby’s last Gold medal at the Olympics and in recent times the sport has made no secret of its desire for readmission in the form of Sevens. Total Rugby speaks with IRB Chief Executive Mike Miller, who’s just returned from Beijing.

Eighty-one caps for the Wallabies, a World Cup winner in 1999, Matt Burke is universally regarded as one of the game’s gentlemen but was forced to retire following a serious knee injury. AWARDS SHORTLIST: JUNIOR & SEVENS
Earlier this week the nominees were announced for the Player of the Year in both the Sevens and Junior categories. Nigel Starmer-Smith commentated for television at both events this year and shares his views on the six nominees.
