Multi-talented number eight Neville said after an enjoyable day’s golf: “This was a fantastic way for us to relax ahead of our departure for the World Cup. We’ve had a good build-up and our wins over Canada and Scotland have boosted our preparations for this tough tournament.

“We’re all hugely looking forward now to getting out on the pitch and playing our opening game against France.”
