Using action-packed footage, interviews with players, past and present and drawing on the memories of coaches, rugby writers and commentators, who were eye-witnesses to the great games, Come the Hour is a highly enjoyable journey through some of Irish rugby’s most thrilling successes in the television age.

Part 1 of this 2 DVD set begins with a compendium of some of Irelands stirring victories from the beating of the World Champions Australia in Lansdowne Road in November 2002 to a celebration of the black and white era with Irelands victories in Twickenham in 1964 and 1972.

It concludes with a look back at the three classic games of 1982 that brought us our first Triple Crown win since 1949 under coach Tom Kiernan and sent the Lansdowne Road crowd into a frenzy of delight.

Part 2 resumes with the three stirring games of the 1985 season which under captain Ciaran Fitzgerald brought us our second Triple Crown. It also captures the thrills and excitement of our famous Brian O’Driscoll hat-trick win in Paris in 2000, our outstanding win against England in Lansdowne Road in 2001 when we denied them the triple crown.

The DVD can be purchased from all record shops throughout Ireland at approx 29.99.
