Schoolboys Win The Championship

The Ireland Schools side claimed the championship title following a highly impressive 9-3 win over Wales Schools in Narbeth.

Ireland led at 9-0 at half-time thanks to a Fergal Lawlor drop-goal and two Eamoin Fizgerald penalties. Wales narrowed the deficit with a penalty from Greg McCarthy ten minutes after the restart but the Irish mounted a superb defence to thwart the home side.
