Celtic League Final Fort Millennium Stadium
The Celtic League Final meeting between Munster and Neath which will be held at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on February 1st, 2003 will be televised live throughout the UK and Ireland by BBC Grandstand and TG4.
The final will be a Welsh/Irish affair, after Munster defeated Ulster 42-10 in Thomond Park and Neath accounted for Cardiff 32-10 less than 24 hours later at the Courage Gnoll.
Neath held a 17 point interval lead after opening half tries from Nathan Bonner-Evans and Dave Tiueti.
In the second half Cardiff staged something of a revival to close the gap to seven (17-10) but it was a case of ‘flattering to deceive’ as Neath rallied to score 15 points without reply before the end.
