Spirit of Rugby Conference: Introducing The Key Note Speaker

The inaugural Spirit of Rugby conference is taking place at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday January 13th, 2019. IrishRugby.ie confirmed in November that the key note speaker at the event will be Changing The Game Project Founder John O’Sullivan.

O’Sullivan recorded a short video to outline some of the areas he will be covering as part of the conference.

“I’m so excited to be part of this amazing event,” he said. “I’m so excited with some of the experts that I’ll be sharing a stage with as we talk about: Who’s in front of us? Who are the young players who play this incredible game and how can we make this sport better for them?”

O’Sullivan’s address will also identify the qualities of great coaching and great teams as well as how to engage parents appropriately in their children’s sporting development.

He will be joined at the conference by IRFU Head of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Prof. Phil Glasgow, Senior Clinical Psychologist Dr. Paul Gaffney, and Dr. Anne Marie Waldron, who is a Clinical Director with the HSE’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
