The award for the October #AILTry Of the Month has gone to Old Crescent’s Val McDermott. The winger’s deft finish capped a brilliant move from the Limerick side in their Division 2A clash with Dolphin in Irish Independent Park.

Front rower Cathal O’Reilly’s superb break, dummy and kick through was instrumental in setting up the try, and the Old Crescent score garnered national attention when several news sites shared the video online
