Irish Rugby TV: Griggs Says New Caps Have Earned Their Shot

There are four new caps included in the Ireland Women’s squad for Sunday’s encounter with the USA at Energia Park (kick-off 1pm). We hear from head coach Adam Griggs about their progression and the challenge Ireland face this weekend.

Speaking about the new caps, Ireland Women’s head coach Adam Griggs said: The new caps have definitely earned their shot. If you look at Laura Sheehan on the wing, she had an outstanding interpro series for Munster. Then there’s Lauren Delany at full-back who came through the IQ Rugby pathway, and it’s a great opportunity for them to show they can make the next step up.
