Gerard has been working with the IRFU in a variety of roles since 1992.
He was Match Manager for the IRFU at Lansdowne Road and became Men’s National Team Manager in 2005.
In all he was worked on six Men’s Rugby World Cups and two British & Irish Lions tours (2013 to Australia and 2017 to New Zealand).
Gerard was appointed Director of Operations for the IRFU in 2022 and also serves as National Team Manager for the Men’s team.
