Leinster squad for London Irish game

The Leinster squad to face London Irish in a pre-season friendly at Donnybrook on Friday (KO: 7.30pm) has been named.
Leinster can call on the services of Felipe Contepomi for the first time this season as well as their Churchill Cup contingent which includes the likes of Jamie Heaslip, Rob Kearney and Kieran Lewis. This means that Trevor Hogan looks set to make his debut against the Exiles.
There could also be home debuts for Australian duo Owen Finegan and Chris Whitaker, while Stephen Keogh and Harry Vermaas could also make their first starts in Donnybrook.
Due to the number of injuries in the London Irish squad the A team game, originally scheduled to precede the senior game, has had to be cancelled.
Meanwhile, London Irish has announced a strong 31 man squad for Friday evening’s pre-season match with Leinster at Donnybrook in Dublin.

The squad contains 13 full internationals including the likes of Justin Bishop, Mike Catt, Danie Coetzee, Olivier Magne and Phil Murphy. Among the former Leinster players included in the squad are Bob Casey, Barry Everitt and Ben Willis.
The match, which kicks-off at 7.30pm, will be played in three periods of 30 minutes each to give all the players in both squads a chance to take part in the game.
