U18 Festival Continues In UL
The second of three match days in the IRFU U18 Interpro festival at UL gets underway at 11 a.m. today with four games across the day featuring the clubs and schools players from all four provinces and IQ Rugby.
Match day 1 saw some hard fought and exciting games on the 3G pitch in UL as the teams kicked off the action last Saturday.
SInce then the players and coaches have had recovery sessions in the gym and pool as well as a number of seminars including a Q&A session with Munster and Ireland stars Conor Murray and CJ Stander with Munster Academy player Fineen Wycherly providing an insight into his journey so far.

Tuesday saw the teams get in their Captain’s Run as they finalised preparations for today’s schedule of matches. Irish Rugby TV spoke to Connacht U18 head coach Collie Tucker about how his squad are enjoying the campus setting for the festival

The action today starts at 11 a.m. with the Ulster Schools in action against the IQ Rugby (IRFU Exiles) squad.
There’s a family twist to the final game of the day when Munster Schools take on Leinster Schools with coaching brothers Sean and Andy Skehan on opposite sides for what promises to be a fitting finale to the day.

11 am – U18 Schools: Ulster v IQ Rugby
1 pm – U18 Clubs: Leinster v Ulster
3 pm – U18 Clubs: Munster v Connacht
5 pm – U18 Schools: Munster v Leinster
