On The Road With The Ireland 7s – The London And Paris Episodes
The final two episodes of the ‘On The Road with the Ireland 7s’ series are now live. The sixth and seventh installments follow the Ireland Men’s and Women’s Sevens team on their path across the closing rounds of the 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in London and Paris.
Episode 6 follows the Ireland Men as they competed as the invitational team at the World Series’ penultimate round, the London Sevens, earlier in the summer.
The players provide some insight on how they felt going up against the world’s best sides, what it was like to compete in front of a great crowd at Twickenham, and what it was like to make history with a bronze medal win – thanks to Jordan Conroy’s late try against England and Mark Roche’s all-important conversion – at their very first World Series event.
