#UBLTry Videos Attract Over Quarter Of A Million Views

The Ulster Bank League is in full flow and the action on the pitch is generating plenty of interaction on social media as the #UBLTry of the Month awards have amassed over a quarter of a million views across IRFU social media channels.

The monthly award videos are proving very popular with clubs and their supporters as they feature their top try moments on social platforms using #UBLTry.

The videos have been watched over 250,000 times on Irish Rugby platforms on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, but clubs are also attracting attention to their own social media channels by using #UBLTry when they post the videos online.

The Ulster Bank League Try of the Month winners so far this season are Lansdowne’s flying winger Daniel McEvoy, Young Munster flanker and captain Ben Kilkenny, Old Wesley’s goal-kicking full-back/winger Jack Maybury and Seapoint’s skilful Kiwi out-half Bain Champion.

The monthly winners have been chosen members of the Ireland coaching team from videos submitted by the Ulster Bank League clubs that are then shortlisted on Irish Rugby channels. The winner receives a cheque for 250 euro and is shortlisted for the #UBLTry of the Year award at the end of the season.

The January shortlist will be announced in the coming days but in the meantime here’s a look at the four monthly winners to date:
