Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup Draw

Cup holders Ashbourne will begin their defence of the coveted Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup with a home tie against Ulster side Ballyclare as the first round of the tournament kicks off on Saturday October 28th.

This is the thirteenth season of the competition which has captured the imagination of Junior clubs and often served as a springboard to promotion to the Ulster Bank League.

Cup holders Ashbourne have been drawn at home to Ballyclare, who were knocked out at the quarter final stage last season.

Two time winners and last season’s beaten finalists Enniscorthy will travel to Newcastle West for their first round match. 

DLSP made it to the semi-final stage last time out and they’ll be aiming for one better this season. They open their campaign at home to Connemara.

Monivea, who contested the 2012 final with Tullamore are drawn at home to Kilfeacle, while Westport are on the road to Clonmel.

Elsewhere Ballina are at home to Portadown, Enniskillen will host Bandon and Instonians are at home to Gorey.

The opening round takes place on Saturday, October 28 with the quarter-finals set for November 11 and the semi-finals down for decision on December 9th

The Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup final has been scheduled for Saturday, January 27.
