IRFU Referee Appointments For This Weekend

IRFU Referee Appointments For This Weekend

IRFU referees are in action across Europe this week, including Frank Murphy who is at the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Georgia. He took charge of yesterday’s pool opener between Australia and Wales.

Tonight Ulster welcome the Barbarians to Kingspan Stadium and Welsh referee Ben Whitehouse will be assisted by the IRFU’s David Wilkinson and Jonny Erskine on the touchlines, with Simon McDowell as TMO.
The first leg of the Rugby Europe Men’s Sevens Grand Prix Series gets underway this weekend in Moscow, and Sean Gallagher will add to his list of Sevens tournaments he has officiated at this season when he travels to Russia.
Joy Neville, who was involved in last weekend’s Canada Women’s 7s in Langford, will switch back to the 15-a-side game when she takes charge of the trial match between Ireland Women and Japan at UCD this weekend as both squads continue their preparations for the Women’s Rugby World Cup in August.
