IRFU Referee Appointments At Home And Abroad This Week

IRFU referees are in action both domestically and in European competition this weekend, including the Challenge Cup qualifying play-offs in Mogliano, Italy and Tbilisi, Georgia.

On Friday night, David Wilkinson takes charge of an ‘A’ interprovincial fixture between Ulster and Leinster at Banbridge RFC, while Barrie O’Connell will officiate the evening kick-off at Irish Independent Park between Sunday’s Well and Highfield in Ulster Bank League Division 2A.
 
Saturday sees two Irish teams of officials on duty for the European Challenge Cup qualifying play-offs. Frank Murphy is assisted by Eddie Hogan O’Connell and Helen O’Reilly for the game between Mogliano and Enisei STM in Italy. In Tbilisi, Georgia.

Murphy has also been included in the panel of referees for the World Rugby U20 Championship, which takes place in Georgia in June.

Sean Gallagher will have Joy Neville and Ken Imbusch running the line as he takes charge of the meeting of Krasny Yar Krasnoyarsk and Timisoara Saracens.
