IRFU Referee Appointments

There’s IRFU Referees in action in both European and domestic competitions this weekend.

On Friday evening, John Lacey will referee the European Rugby Champions Cup match between Montpellier and Northampton. Gary Conway and Dermot Blake will be assistant referees and Olly Hodges will act as TMO.
 
Also on Friday, Leinster A face Richmond in the British and Irish Cup and Paul Haycock and Glenn Sheridan will be assistant referees to Welshman Gareth Newman.
 
On Saturday, Andrew Brace takes charge of Clermont against Exeter Chiefs in the European Rugby Champions Cup, with assistance from Dudley Phillips and Kieran Barry. Simon McDowell will act as TMO.
 
In the European Rugby Challenge Cup, Sean Gallagher will referee Lyon versus Grenoble, with Nigel Correll and Chris Busby as assistant referees.
 
In the British and Irish Cup, Joy Neville will referee London Irish against Ospreys A and Stuart Gaffikin will referee the Newport Gwent Dragons A side against Bedford Blues.
 
On the domestic front, there’s action in the Bateman Cup and Eddie Hogan-O’Connell will take charge of Old Belvedere against Ballynahinch, while Paul Haycock will be on the whistle for Cork Con against Buccaneers.
 
There are also a number of games in Divisions 2A, 2B and 2C in the Ulster Bank League.
 
On Sunday, Ken Imbusch will referee the warm-up fixture between Ireland Women and Wales Women, with Cillian Hogan and Su Carty on the touchlines.
 
In the European Rugby Champions Cup, David Wilkinson will referee Zebre versus Wasps, with Jonny Erskine and Frank Murphy as assistant referees, Kevin Beggs will be TMO.
 
In the European Rugby Challenge Cup, George Clancy will referee Stade Francis against Harlequins, with Leo Colgan and Dudley Phillips as assistant referees and Brian MacNeice as TMO.
