IRFU Referee Appointments

As European competitions return this weekend, there will be a number of IRFU referees in action in the European Rugby Champions Cup, the European Rugby Challenge Cup. There is also action in the British and Irish Cup and there’s one game in the Ulster Bank League.

On Thursday evening, Dudley Phillips will referee the European Rugby Challenge Cup match between Bayonne and La Rochelle. Kieran Barry and Chris Harrington will be assistant referees and Kevin Beggs will act as TMO.
 
On Friday, Frank Murphy takes charge of the European Rugby Challenge Cup match between the Newport Gwent Dragons and Enisei. Nigel Correll and Helen O’Reilly will be assistant referees.
 
In the British and Irish Cup, Joy Neville takes charge of Ulster A versus London Scottish at the Kingspan Stadium, with Chris Busby and Peter Martin assisting her. In Bandon RFC in Cork, Shane Kierans and Richard Horgan will assist Welsh referee Dewi Phillips as Munster A face Doncaster Knights.
 
On Saturday, John Lacey takes charge of Wasps against Toulouse in the European Rugby Champions Cup in the Ricoh Arena, with assistance from Sean Gallagher and Barrie O’Connell. Peter Fitzgibbon will act as TMO.
 
Andrew Brace will referee the game between Northampton and Casters and will be assisted by Leo Colgan and Paul Haycock with Olly Hodges as TMO.
 
In the European Rugby Challenge Cup, Gary Conway takes charge of Pau versus Cardiff, with Mark Patton and Karol Collins as assistant referees.
 
In the British and Irish Cup, Nigel Correll will referee Cardiff Blues A side against Jersey, Jonny Erskine will referee the Ospreys A against Cornish Pirates and in Dubarry Park, Dermot Blake and Tim Townend will be assistant referees when Connacht A welcome London Irish.
 
On Sunday in the European Rugby Champions Cup, George Clancy will referee Toulon versus Sale Sharks, with Stuart Gaffikin and Ken Imbusch as his assistants. Simon McDowell will be TMO.
 
In the European Rugby Challenge Cup, David Wilkinson will be the man in the middle for Harlequins’ game against Edinburgh. Eddie Hogan O’Connell and Oisin Quinn will be assistant referees.
