First blood was drawn by UCC who, ably led by loosehead Charlie Slowey and winger Rory Slater, saw off a spirited Trinity 17:15 in the opening game.

The final clash was a ‘winner takes all’ encounter between UCC and UCD. Led by player of the tournament Greg Jones, UCD proved far too strong for their hosts, comfortably winning 47-7.

The President of UCC RFC Olann Kelleher presented the Dudley Cup to the winning captain Jamie Glynn from UCD afterwards.
