eir Sport have announced that they will broadcast the Ireland v New Zealand clash on Saturday, November 5 in a one-off Test match which will be played in Chicago’s 61,500-seater stadium, Soldier Field.
The eagerly-anticipated match will be at 8pm Irish time and is the first of Ireland’s November internationals. Joe Schmidt’s men will face the World champions who once again showed their recent dominance in the Rugby Championship, winning all of their games.
eir Sport will also broadcast the Munster v Maori All Blacks tie which takes place on Friday, November 11 at Thomond Park. This will be the first time both sides have met at the famous Limerick venue.
These fixtures are part of the impressive rugby coverage on the eir Sport pack this autumn. Other upcoming content includes the European Champions Cup including Leinster’s pool opener on October 15, Connacht and Ulster’s games in round 2 and the double headers in December for Leinster and Munster.
