IRFU Referees’ Appointments This Weekend

There are a large number of IRFU referee appointments this weekend, with officials involved in the Rugby Championship, the GUINNESS PRO12 and the Ulster Bank League.

Tonight in the GUINNESS PRO12, Andrew Brace will take charge of the Newport Gwent Dragons against Glasgow Warriors and he will have Frank Murphy as assistant referee and Kevin Beggs as TMO. In Galway, John Carvill will be an assistant referee as Connacht welcome Edinburgh.
 
There are also a number of Friday Night Lights games across the Ulster Bank League, with Welsh official Craig Evans refereeing the Division 1A clash between St. Mary’s College and Dublin University – this game will be streamed live on the Irish Rugby Facebook Page from 7.30pm.
 
David Wilkinson will referee the local derby between Dublin 4 sides Lansdowne and Old Belvedere. In Belfast, Queen’s University face Malone in Division 2A and Chris Busby will referee that game. In Division 2C, Gary Glennon takes charge of Navan against Tullamore.
 
On Saturday, John Lacey and George Clancy will be assistant referees to Wayne Barnes in Pretoria for the Rugby Championship meeting of South Africa and Australia.
 
In the GUINNESS PRO12, Dudley Phillips will be on the whistle for the Cardiff Blues v Leinster tie, Frank Murphy will be heading down from his game the previous night in Newport to be one of the assistant referees.

In Treviso, Gary Conway will referee the clash between Benetton Treviso and the Scarlets, with Nigel Correll as an assistant referee. Paul Haycock will also be an assistant referee in Belfast when Ulster play the Ospreys. There is also action across all divisions of the Ulster Bank League.
