IRFU Referees Set For Domestic And European Action

There will be IRFU referees in action in Europe and across the country this weekend in a number of play-off games as we reach the latter stages of the season.
 

John Lacey will referee Harlequins against Grenoble in tonight’s European Challenge Cup semi-final. He will have Dudley Phillips and Andy Brace as 4th and 5th officials.
 
Tomorrow in the Ulster Bank League Division 1A semi-finals, David Wilkinson will be the man in the middle at Castle Avenue where Clontarf host UCD. Paul Haycock and Helen O’Reilly will be his assistant referees.
 
In Temple Hill, Gary Conway will referee the all-Munster clash between Cork Constitution and Young Munster. He will have Will O’Connor and Rob O’Sullivan as his assistants.
 
In the Division 1A relegation/promotion play-off between Ballynahinch and Buccaneers, Leo Colgan will officiate and he will have Jonny Erskine and Adrian Reavey as his assistants.
 
In the other 1A play-off, Dublin University will host Ballymena at College Park – the match referee is Barry Kieran, who will be assisted by Brian MacNeice and Gary Glennon.
 
The Division 1B relegation/promotion play-off between Blackrock College and Cashel will be refereed by Stuart Gaffikin, who will have John Carvill and Dermot Blake as his assistants.
 
In Rifle Park, Banbridge face UCC and Sean Gallagher will officiate, with Jonathan Peak and Peter Martin on the touchlines.
 
In the Division 2A relegation/promotion play-off final, Sunday’s Well meet Greystones and will have Mark Patton on hand to referee, with Barrie O’Connell and George Finn as the assistants.
 
The Division 2B relegation/promotion play-off final will see Tullamore face Wanderers and that game will be officiated by Frank Murphy, with Cillian Hogan and Barry O’Keeffe on duty as assistants.
 
In the Provincial Qualifying League series, Clonmel face Bangor and will have Karol Collins as referee, and Ken Imbusch will take charge of Enniscorthy v Westport.
 
On Sunday, George Clancy will be one of the assistant referees for the European Champions Cup semi-final between Leicester Tigers and Racing 92 in Nottingham. Simon McDowell will be the TMO.
