IRFU Referees Involved In Domestic & European Games

IRFU referees will be involved in domestic and European competitions over the coming weekend.

This afternoon, Joy Neville will officiate the ‘A’ interprovincial match between Munster ‘A’ and Ulster ‘A’ at Naas RFC.
 
On Friday night, John Lacey will be the man in the middle at the AJ Bell Stadium for the European Challenge Cup quarter-final between Sale Sharks and Montpellier. He will be assisted by David Wilkinson and Gary Conway, with Sean Gallagher and Leo Colgan as the 4th and 5th officials.
 
On Saturday, in the European Champions Cup quarter-finals, Peter Fitzgibbon will be one of the assistant referees at the Ricoh Arena when Wasps meet Exeter Chiefs and Simon McDowell will act as the TMO. In Kingsholm, Dudley Phillips will be one of the assistant referees when Gloucester meet the Newport Gwent Dragons in the last-eight of European Challenge Cup.
 
In the European Challenge Qualifying Cup, Andy Brace takes charge of Timisoara Saracens against Calvisano. John Carvill will be the 4th Official.
 
At College Park in Dublin, Nigel Correll will referee the Irish Universities versus England Students. He will have Paul Haycock and Dermot Blake on the touchlines.
 
The Ulster Bank League Round Robin qualifying series also continues on Saturday. Rob Watson will referee the game between Westport and Clonmel, with Shane Kierans refereeing the meeting of Enniscorthy and Bangor.
 
The semi-finals of the Fraser McMullen Under-20 Cup competition will see Cork Constitution face local rivals UCC, with Rob O’Sullivan appointed as referee, and the clash of UCD and Terenure College will have Cillian Hogan in charge.
 
On Sunday, George Clancy will be one of the assistant referees at Welford Road for the European Champions Cup quarter-final between Leicester and Stade Francais.
