Bruff (4th) v Wanderers (3rd), Kilballyowen Park
Bruff and Wanderers swapped places in the standings on the back of last weekend’s results.

Bruff were surprised by a Sligo outfit recording only their second win of the league while Wanderers gained ground on Tullamore with a one point win.

Not much to choose between then on paper, bar two extra try bonus points for the visitors. Saturday may tell a different story.

Kanturk (8th) v Dundalk (10th), Knocknacolon
Kanturk sit five points clear of the danger zone that contains Sligo and Dundalk and they have a game in hand but they can’t afford to relax.

The Cork outfit lost to Boyne by a point in their last game while Dundalk were well beaten by the league leaders.

A home win on the cards.

Old Crescent (1st) v Sligo (9th), Rosbrien
The league leaders were in good form last weekend with a second half rout of Dundalk. They are now five points clear of Tullamore.

Sligo have been in interesting form in their last two outings picking up losing bonus points to top four sides Bruff and Tullamore.

Is there a resurgence in form for the Connacht club?

Tullamore (2nd) v Midleton (5th), Spollanstown
A tough tight affair against Wanderers last weekend saw Tullamore lose ground to Old Crescent but hang on to 2nd place in the table.

They’ll need a return to winning ways to hold on to it this weekend.

Midleton continued their winning form with victory over Naas. A game in hand offers the Cork side a real shot at a top four slot if they win on Saturday.
