Storm Desmond certainly made his presence felt on today’s Ulster Bank League fixtures with eight games postponed. There was no stopping Division 1A leaders UCD as they overcame Old Belvedere 20-12 at Belfield, while only three points separate the top sides in Division 1B – table toppers St. Mary’s and their chief chasers Ballymena and Dublin University.
