Four players – Richardt Strauss, Devin Toner, Jordi Murphy and Darren Cave – will make their Rugby World Cup debuts for Ireland, and 22-year-old prop Tadhg Furlong will also make his tournament bow if used off the bench.

Keith Earls needs two tries to equal Brian O’Driscoll’s record of seven RWC tries. He has scored two tries in pool games twice before, against Russia and Italy in 2011.
