IRFU ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Initiative Returns to Boost Club Fundraising

The IRFU ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw fundraising scheme has entered its fifth year and to date the initiative has raised over 2.5 million euro for clubs.

The Ulster Bank-backed initiative allows clubs to sell up to 1,000 tickets at €;10 per ticket and retain 100% of the ticket sale revenue. The IRFU and its partners supply the prizes for the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw. ensuring clubs reap the maximum benefit from the fundraising scheme.
 
In 2014, the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw raised over €;650,000 for the 165 participating clubs. Registration is now open to clubs for the 2015 ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw.
 
Martin O’Sullivan, President of the IRFU, commented: “It is great to see that the ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw is continuing to assist clubs in their fundraising initiatives. The IRFU would like to thank all of its partners for their continued support of this important revenue generator for clubs.

The draw will take place on Monday, November 16, 2015 and will be broadcast on Irish Rugby TV on www.irishrugby.ie.
 
Once registered for the scheme, clubs will receive ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw packs from September 14 which will contain promotional posters and the all-important Grand Draw tickets.

All sold and unsold tickets must be returned to the IRFU before 5pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.

TO BECOME A PARTICIPATING CLUB:

• Complete the registration of participation form and return to Maud O’Callaghan, Commercial and Marketing Department, IRFU, PO Box 11430, Dublin 15.

• By completing and submitting the form you are agreeing in full to the terms and conditions of the draw (see reverse). A full list of terms and conditions will also be available on www.irishrugby.ie.

• Upon receipt of the form, each club will then be sent their Grand Draw pack. This includes 1000 tickets with a value of €;10 per ticket, a completion form and promotional posters.

• Grand Draw packs will be sent from Monday, September 14, 2015. THESE WILL BE DELIVERED BY POST ONLY AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION.

• All sold ticket counterfoils and unsold tickets must be returned before 5pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in order to be included in the 2015 ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw. The completion form must accompany all returned tickets. Return postal address as per above.

• The main draw will take place on Monday, November 16, 2015 and can be viewed on Irish Rugby TV on www.irishrugby.ie
