Lansdowne’s Farrell Is League’s Latest ‘Rising Star’

Lansdowne’s Farrell Is League’s Latest ‘Rising Star’

Lansdowne centre Tom Farrell has been named the Ulster Bank League Division 1A Rising Star of the Month for Match. He will now be shortlisted for the overall Ulster Bank Rising Star of the Year honour which will be presented at the Ulster Bank League Awards next month.

Tom Farrell scored three tries in two games for Lansdowne in March – footage of his brace against Cork Con can been viewed below – as Mike Ruddock’s men cemented their place as league leaders and earned a home semi-final which takes place this Saturday against Young Munster.

The strong-running 21-year-old, a former Castleknock College student, earned four caps for the Ireland Under-20s and has lined out this season for Leinster ‘A’.
