Debutant Doyle Replaces Tyrrell For Ireland Women
There has been a late change to the Ireland Women’s team to play France in the Women’s RBS 6 Nations at Ashbourne RFC tonight (kick-off 7.30pm).
Winger Hannah Tyrrell, a debutant against Italy last weekend, has been withdrawn from the squad due to a concussion injury she picked up during training. She is undergoing the return-to-play protocols.
Tyrrell will be replaced in the starting line-up by Shannon and Munster’s Aoife Doyle, the Sevens international who will be winning her first Test cap for Ireland.
Tonight’s match will be streamed live on www.IrishRugby.ie with a commentary team that includes former Ireland Women’s captain Fiona Coghlan. Match tickets are priced at €;10 for adults and €;5 for OAPs, students and children. Supporters can pay at the gate.
