Draw Made For Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup

The draw for the 2014/15 Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup has been made. Holders Enniscorthy will open their defence of the coveted silverware with a home tie against Portadown.

The two sides met in last season’s semi-finals and it proved to be a very tight affair with ‘Scorthy coming out the right side of a 14-13 result.

Last season’s beaten finalists Clogher Valley have been drawn at home to Clondalkin, while Monivea, – finalists in 2011 and 2012 – have been drawn at home to Coolmine.

The Ulster Bank All-Ireland Junior Cup has been a springboard to further success for several previous winners and finalists with the likes of Armagh, Tullamore, Rainey Old Boys and City of Derry all gaining promotion to the Ulster Bank League.

The opening round of the cup has been scheduled for Saturday, October 25 with the games kicking off at 2.30pm.
