Ireland U-20 Squad Named For Warm-Up Game Against Scotland

The Ireland Under-20 squad, sponsored by PwC, has been named for a IRB Junior World Championship warm-up match against Scotland at Murrayfield (back pitch 3) on Sunday (kick-off 11.30am).

Head coach Mike Ruddock is using the game as preparation for the Junior World Championship which takes place in New Zealand next month.

The travelling squad includes front rowers Max Abbott and Rory Burke and scrum half Ryan Foley, who won the Bateman Cup with Cork Constitution last Saturday to add to their Fraser McMullen Cup success at U-20 level.

Ireland share Pool B with France, Fiji and Wales and open the tournament against France at QBE Stadium in Auckland on Monday, June 2.
