Boyne (13^th) v Nenagh Ormond (1^st), Shamrock Lodge

It has been a tough run of games for Boyne of late and it doesn’t get easier on Saturday when they host the league leaders.

Nenagh Ormond will be aiming to recover from the draw last week and keep the distance between them and the likes of ‘Stones and Armagh.

Should be an interesting game and real test of nerve for the visitors.

Greystones (2^nd) v Armagh (3^rd), Dr. Hickey Park

A match with a huge bearing on the promotion and title chase as Greystones host Armagh with only a point between them in the table.

Both will be hoping to capitalise on any slip up by Nenagh Ormond if they can.

The home side have a point to prove having lost to fourth place Thomond last week. Should be a cracker.

Instonians (15^th) v DLSP (8^th), Shaws Bridge

Instonians know the task that lies ahead as we hit the business end of the league. Win more games and get out of the relegation playoff spot.

Mid table ‘Salmo saw off Sligo by a couple of points last week and will aim to do the same this weekend.

The visitors endured a tough time last season and have learned from that. They should take the win.

Navan (7^th) v Ards (10^th), Balreask Old

Navan can at the very least say they have come closest to beating Nenagh so far this season.

That draw has them in 7^th place just three points ahead of their opponents on Saturday.

Ards beat Skerries last weekend and will travel with ambition.

Richmond (9^th) v Tullamore (6^th), Richmond Park

Richmond have won their last two games to move up to 9^th place. At the moment they are on the roll.

Tullamore are also two from two in 2014 and not out of the running for a playoff slot if they keep up the winning ways.

Plenty to play for then in Richmond Park on Saturday.

Skerries (5^th) v Midleton (11^th), Holmpatrick

Skerries lost on the road last weekend but with no change in the top seven placings they are still in 5^th place.

Midleton beat Inst. last week and are eight points behind their hosts on Saturday afternoon.

You’d have to back the home team in Holmpatrick this week.

Sligo (14^th) v Sunday’s Well (12^th), Hamilton Park

A big game for both clubs in the bottom half of the table.

A home win would pull Sligo out of danger for the time being and it would also pull Sunday’s Well closer to it.

Both sides lost last time out but the visitors have the experience to survive the trip.

Thomond (4^th) v Suttonians (16^th), Liam Fitzgerald Park

Another game with plenty at stake. The home side are just one point outside the promotion playoff slot and a chance to capitalise on the result from Dr. Hickey Park.

The visitors are still without a win, eight points adrift at the bottom of the table.

A home win and more misery for Suttonians.
