Ards (12th) v Skerries (5th), Hamilton Park

An important game for both clubs but for different reasons with the home side hoping to keep out of the relegation zone and the visitors chasing a top four slot.

Ards lost on the road two weeks ago while Skerries beat Thomond in Holmpatrick.

The visitors probably have the edge for this one.

Armagh (3rd) v Boyne (11th), Palace Grounds

Another important game that can have a bearing on the top four as 3rd placed Armagh hope to close the gap on Greystones and Nenagh Ormond.

Boyne picked up a good win on the road against Suttonians to take them clear of the worry zone but they face a different challenge in the Palace Grounds on Saturday.

De La Salle Palmerston (9th) v Sligo (14th), Kirwan Park

‘Salmo can probably sympathise with Bruff in Divison 2A as they went through similar problems last season.

So far this year they have won three and picked up three losing bonus points in their five losses.

Sligo are just three points behind them in the danger zone so there is still plenty at stake.

Midleton (13th) v Instonians (15th), Towns Park

A really big game at the wrong end of the table with three points between the sides.

Both sides lost their last game so there is a point to prove as well.

Hard to know how it will go but home advantage could be key.

Nenagh Ormond (1st) v Navan (7th), New Ormond Park

The unbeaten Nenagh Ormond had a bit of a wobble in their last game with Sligo running them close. They are back on home ground this weekend though.

Navan have won four and lost four, their last a close run thing against Greystones so they have the ability to challenge the top sides.

Could be interesting.

Sunday’s Well (8th) v Richmond (10th), Musgrave Park

A mid table clash with the two clubs tied on points and the Well’s +1 point difference keeping them ahead.

Both sides won their last game so they look evenly matched coming into this affair.

The Well will take full advantage of their familiarity with the Muzzer pitch and should take the win.

Suttonians (16th) v Tullamore (6th), JJ McDowell Memorial Grounds

Suttonians are struggling. They have no wins yet and only four losing BPs to their name. The season gets tougher.

Newly promoted Tullamore are more than holding their own so far in Division 2B with four wins and a draw.

Their points difference is in the negative but they should show well on Saturday away from home.

Thomond (4th) v Greystones (2nd), Liam Fitzgerald Park

A real contender for Match of The Day. Thomond have been the surprise package this season and despite losing to Skerries they are just six points behind their visitors.

‘Stones beat won their last game against Navan on a 0 – 7 scoreline but they are a potent outfit when they want to be.

Could be a cracker!
