The dates and kick-off times for the last three rounds of the RaboDirect PRO12 have been confirmed following a meeting with the tournament’s broadcasters.
With six teams still fighting for a possible top four finish and a place in the play-offs, interest in the final few rounds is intense.
Nine of the twelve Round 20 and 21 games will be broadcast live, including the mouth-watering interprovincial clash of Munster and Leinster at Thomond Park on Saturday, April 13.
The following weekend Zebre break new ground by hosting Leinster at Stadio Citta del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia, the first time a league game has been held at this stadium.
The final round of matches will all kick off simultaneously, at 7.45pm Irish time (8.45pm in Italy) on Friday, May 3.
The dates for the play-offs and the RaboDirect PRO12 final have also been announced, although the order of the semi-finals on the weekend of May 10-11 cannot be determined until the venues are known.
The teams that finish in first and second place in the table will host the fourth and third-placed teams respectively, one play-off game will be take place on Friday night, kicking off at 7.45pm and one game on Saturday at 7.35pm.
The RaboDirect PRO12 final will take place on Saturday, May 25, with a kick-off time of 4.45pm.
The RaboDirect PRO12 determines that for the final venue, the team that finished highest in the regular season can propose a stadium within its own Union’s jurisdiction (provided that it meets certain criteria).
Venues and ticketing arrangements for the knockout stages will be confirmed at a later date.
